Delighted to share the latest venture from ‘thirtythree-45’ in association with the ever supportive #droicheadartscentre. Opening for Culture Night on September 20th 2024 ‘The Kiosk’ is a new pop-up gallery and project space at the corner of Barlow House on Narrow West Street, Drogheda.
The aim of ‘The Kiosk’ will be to provide a cross-disciplinary programme that showcases and supports the work of artists and groups at any stage of their career, by invitation or open call ,cultivating a creative and supportive environment with an artist-led approach.
The physical space of The Kiosk although tiny ( I mean tiny!!!! ) is versatile and adaptable, providing a dynamic setting that can accommodate temporary exhibitions, projects and events.
The Kiosk officially opens on ‘Culture Night 2024’ with the exhibition ‘PAUSE’, a mini retrospective showcasing eight years of thirtythree-45, Brian Hegarty’s not for profit arts initiative that runs independently, in partnership and in collaboration. The inaugural exhibition will feature ephemera relating to thirtythree-45, including self-published artists’ zines, experimental music releases, video art and graphics.
‘PAUSE’ opens Culture Night on 20th September.
