Drogheda Zine Fair

Strength Thru Xerox: An Exhibition by Boz Mugabe

Friday 17th January, 6.00pm at The Kiosk Project Art Space

Drogheda Zine Fair, in partnership with The Kiosk Project Art Space, is excited to launch a pop-up exhibition of zines, drawings, gig flyers, posters and other printed materials by artist and zinemaker Boz Mugabe.

This body of work reflects on DIY techniques, visual styles and influences of zinemaking in Boz’s early artistic practice and presents more than a decade of underground publishing in Ireland.

Strength Thru Xerox launches at The Kiosk Project Art Space on Friday 17th January at 6.00pm and runs all day Saturday 18th January from 11:00am to 5:00pm.

Drogheda Zine Fair – Droichead Arts Centre Saturday 18th January

Drogheda Zine Fair is a local celebration of DIY publishing and counterculture collaboratively run by Rita Hynes in collaboration with the non-profit art collective, thirtythree.45

Situated in the main gallery of Droichead Arts Centre, visitors will have the chance to browse stalls, connect with zinemakers, and purchase zines in a welcoming and inclusive space. Drogheda Zine Fair is free for both participants and attendees, building DIY community connections and promoting underground and punk zinemaking practices.

Thanks to additional support from Louth County Council, we are excited to announce our events programme that will accompany our fair across three venues. These events include a pop-up exhibition at The Kiosk, artist talks with Boz Mugabe and Kelly Hoyne and a zinemaking workshop with Kathryn McGrane.
