Delighted to be participating once again in the ‘Drogheda Arts Festival’ and to announce ‘thirtythree-45’s’ contribution this year will be the majestic ‘Bing & Ruth’ – the Brooklyn-based minimalist ensemble led by pianist/composer David Moore. Described as ‘minimalist ensemble music with a certain filmic sensitivity’ ‘Moore’ takes cue’s from Arvo Pärt and Steve Reich to take his music from crystalline ambience to massive glowing crescendos. For this show the line up will be a trio on compact organ, clarinet and upright bass. ‘Bing and Ruth’ are signed to the legendary 4AD label.
