Join us for our annual celebration of culture and creativity in Drogheda, as we host a unique evening bringing you on our culture trail from Droichead Arts Centre Barlow House to Droichead Arts Centre, Stockwell Street. Featuring professional artists from the North East and further afield with many cultural experiences on offer for you to enjoy from public art interventions across West Street (Choice, Little Duke Theatre, Westcourt Hotel, Drogheda Library) in association with Brian Hegarty and thirtythree-45 featuring artist Conor McMahon; on to our gallery which will host the County Collection, Taisce Lú, and where you can view the exhibit, and chat to some of the artists including Adrian+Shane and Breda Marron, and finishing up with music in our theatre from the incredible Róisín Ward Morrow and SJ McArdle!
Tours begin at the steps of Barlow House and are limited to 12 people max, taking place at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm lasting 40 mins in duration. Come along, be prepared to be surprised, and it’s all free!

PUBLIC ART INTERVENTONS – Not For Me To Say
A mini street cinema featuring 8 films by photographer, composer and designer Conor McMahon. Passers by are invited to view these short daydreams as composed between moments from the artist’s lived experiences at home, work – or just passing through from one place to the next. All music, video and images featured are from the artist’s vast personal collection of digital material, and films are entirely edited and produced on the artist’s mobile phone. Conor McMahon is a Dublin-based sculptor, photographer, composer and interaction designer. He creates artifacts from moments captured as drawing, text, music, video, sound and object. He is motivated by the interpretations these artifacts can provoke, while at the same time presenting them simply as rewritten moments from his daily ritual and experience at home, at work – or just passing through from one place to the next.
‘thirtythree-45’ is an non profit art, sound and live event initiative run by artist Brian Hegarty and based in Drogheda Co Louth. The aim of thirtythree-45 is to curate and present the work of innovative artists, promoting creativity and artistic exploration while creating connections between sound and visual practices. ‘thirtythree-45’ has released music / sound art in various limited-edition formats, including cassette, vinyl, lathe cut, digital and Cdr.
