‘ART SHARE’, a non-profit, community engagement collaboration between thirty three – 45 & Droichead Arts Centre in Drogheda Co Louth. ‘ART SHARE’ is a creative reference library and space where anyone with an interest in art can explore a selection of contemporary and historical art books and publications. It will be launched at #BORROWEDGROUND – the pop-up artist studio, residency and exhibition, where 11 artists will work in 8 purpose built studios in the gallery space of the Droichead for 11 weeks on 30 April as part of the Drogheda Arts Festival 2019, and will be a permanent resource which we plan to grow and develop. So drop in, meet the artists and browse through our library.
The books range from artist monographs, gallery publications to self published catalogues, teaching and reference guides . The collection includes , painting, sculpture,art history,print, design and photography. We are always on the look out for books on the myriad of other diciplines and encourage artist with self publications or unloved collections to please donate to this project.
